Blessings on you and your families this week.
On Sunday, we discussed facing our fears and how it brings up three really important questions for us:
Am I a believer or a disciple? Do I trust God for my salvation only? Or is my life dedicated to following Him and becoming like Him?
Do I trust God enough to tell Him how I really feel? Or do I tell Him what I think He wants to hear?
Would I still obey God if the cost was great and He didn't explain it all to me first? Am I willing to trust, even when it doesn't add up and it could be catastrophic for me and my loved ones?
I know our fears and challenges have been real and likely in our faces already this week. God is drawing us closer, and we know Him better, in the middle of the hard things. IF we will obey and face our fears!
Be brave and courageous, He is with you!
Don't Forget!
- Football Watch Party: Sunday, Feb 12th, 3:00pm. Come for fellowship, and maybe a little football... Even if you don't have a team to root for in the big game. Bring a side or appetizer to share and we'll have the grill going, so you can bring something to [burn] as well. Kick-off is at 3:30 and we'll turn it off for the halftime show. All are welcome!
Giving Updates:
You are a generous and faithful church! A couple technicalities on the giving front;
1) Our name is officially changed to Viewpoint Church. If you have things set up on auto pay or your bank sends a check, please double check to make sure it's not still sending to NWC Edgewood.
2) Mail checks to PO Box 1198 Milton, WA 98354, not the street address. For security reasons.
